- We should make a protocol for when we know a bounty hunter is not a good fit. - Bribes to appeal/assign to top xp hunters. Can be automatically calculated based on their rank - pay Research bounties only for “best solution for presented problem” like how liquity did it for the chicken bonds optimal timing competition - subscription model for ubiquibot e.g. $100 a month pitched as a replacement for github repo (engineering) managers - -
- health bar idea for low performing bounty hunters where they “lose health” per review and if too low then are disqualified from the bounty. health bars are also cumulative where they span across multiple PRs/bounties per bounty hunter. - trends with analytics with amount of lines of code changed / amount of requested reviews; amount of comments/conversation; and time. - set “hard limits” page alvaro - idea to drop off cash reward after deadline - hard limits update: 4 reviews with bounty bot leaving comments updating the bounty hunters with the status based on $100 bounties — - bribes is by feeling as a “stop-gap” measure pre-matchmaking system —- - research bounties should propose multiple solutions - smallest (one day) bounties need 2 solutions - liquity style winner-take-all but consolation prizes for 2nd and 3rd place for research - only people eligible to get paid for research must be “initiated” already - they must have an xp greater than 0 and have solved a bounty - CONCLUSION: GO ALL IN ON LIQUITY STYLE BOUNTIES ALL RISK ALL REWARD NO INITIATION —- - open sourcing bot code but use the data of the leveling and xp system as a moat. - dcf point - more people on gitcoin vs us so easier to use market with more people; we have higher level of % contributing developers percentage wise of people in our devpool

Review Action steps December 23, 2022
- napkin math is good but we need to verify if the existing migrated positions are all affected identically - batch pitchdeck written content to get evan to work efficiently - define KPIs and bountify them to give our internal guys pay boosts/promotions; DORA metrics to see quality of merged PRs. - look into bounty-bot beta collecting 1% of payouts when using DAI for payment settlement (before we launch with our dollar) - defi magic to incentivize people to top up a lot for bounties and cash out slowly. we can make money on swap fees + putting collateral to work - consider making leaderboard private to not making poach targets so obvious; can consider authentication and limiting leveling/analytics info from database to github chrome extension that displays levels on github ui -

アレクサンダー.eth | U B I Q U I T Y:just a small update on the https://github.com/ubiquity/ubiquity-dollar/issues/209 product/feature/tool but i asked @acaldas and @rndquu in dms basically to work together to push forward on it currently its blocked due to the deploy scripts still not being done (its been like a month or so, im really not sure what to do to get this done faster) but anyways this is sort of like an experiment to make subteams of devs in the pool. @rndquu is tasked with research/spec writing and @acaldas can focus on implementation — i was also thinking that @rndquu could do something similar with the bounty-bot and then @StevengrantANT can lend a hand on implementation along with @happyliu130 @rserr you think you could help keep an eye on things for me with these two subteam initatives

There are concerns from ApeSwap regarding the uAD collateralization. What if instead of "classic bonds" we launch bonds collaterized by some utility? For example, "DevPool bonds" guaranteed by the execution of the tasks by the DevPool. This can be perceived  as a wholesale trade with a discount. A risk of this proposal that the sales volume of the "DevPool bonds" will be significantly lower than the "classic bonds". On the other hand, the possibility of buying work at a discount can create a hype for DevPool itself.

should simulate the performance of the oracle design in a google sheet with as much detail as possible. This helps for two reasons: 1. To see how the Oracle would perform in real market conditions. 2. To serve as a reference for when unit tests are created to compare the accuracy of the implementation of the math. It would be wise to keep track of block height for each scenario simulated. You should aim to have 2+ scenarios modeled out. The more the merrier.

because we scrape the twitter handles from all the github profiles, we should follow all of those developers using our devpool account. hopefully we can prime its profile with some interesting content so that they could be more intrigued to see what its all about.

I can set up a bounty (or a handful) with my personal funds for the LinkedIn chrome extension to force thinking through the partner flow and how everything will work together. Bonus: I already have ideas with utility.
