On either Chrome or Firefox, go to https://metamask.io/download/ to install MetaMask as a browser extension.

It will ask you to create a password and then give you a list of words called a seed phrase. You must store your seed phrase somewhere secure. It’s okay to forget your password, but it’s game over if you ever lose your secret phrase.
Therefore, it is crucial to save your seed somewhere safe. Write it in a notebook, put it in a safe, and bury it in your garden or something like that. Then, if something were to happen to your laptop or your MetaMask account, you would still be able to retrieve all of your tokens and Ethereum with your seed phrase.
A few quick things to note: the main screen shows your main account, the buy & send buttons, and the amount of Ether (ETH) you have. The three dots show View Your Account on Etherscan, Show your QR code copy your address, and export your private key.
On top of the screenshot where there is a finger-pointing cursor is where you can change the network you’re in. Usually, you don't want to change this at all. Just keep it on the main Ethereum Mainnet unless you're trying to work with a test network for whatever reason.
Ubiquity currently only exists on Ethereum Mainnet. Providing liquidity for UBQ only uses the Ethereum network via Curve or Sushi. If for some reason, your fund is another network, please use a bridge (such as the Binance Bridge) to transfer your funds.
