The question is, why haven’t you joined yet?

Are you an out-of-work developer or one with free time and proficient in any of the following technologies?
  • TypeScript (critical)
  • GitHub Automation
  • Solidity
  • Web3
If so, you might be interested in joining the Ubiquity DAO DevPool. The DevPool is a community of developers who contribute to Ubiquity DAO projects (and soon-to-come official partners) and are paid for their work via the Permit2 smart contract directly to their Ubiquibot registered wallet address.
The DevPool offers a great opportunity to earn money while working on open-source projects. Most of these projects are Web3-related but don't require you to be a blockchain expert. Tasks range from simple documentation updates to complex smart contract development.

How to Join the DevPool

Anyone can join the DevPool. As a developer, having a basic understanding of the technologies we use will help you excel. If you're new to our ecosystem, we recommend starting with simple tasks to familiarize yourself with the codebase and the code review process.
All tasks are open-source and can be found on our GitHub or via the DevPool. Begin by checking the issues tab to identify open and unassigned issues. Once you find a task that interests you, comment /start on the issue to claim it. You will be locked in until you complete the task or comment /stop to release it back to the pool. Be aware that you may also be ejected from the task if you fail to make timely progress.

How Much Can I Earn?

Your earnings are determined by the number and complexity of tasks you complete, as well as your involvement in other areas of the DAO. Active participation in discussions, referring other developers, improving documentation, and bringing in new business can all increase your earnings.
Our latest recruit, before joining the core team, was making between $1,000 and $3,000 per month. This is a great way to earn money while contributing to open-source projects and the community.

How Do I Get Paid?

You will be paid upon task completion, which can be claimed via the official Ubiquity Rewards portal. Ubiquibot will provide a link once your pull request has been merged or the task closed as complete. You will need to sign the transaction using your Ubiquibot registered wallet address, and the funds will be transferred to your wallet.

Joining the DevPool is not just a chance to earn money but also an opportunity to grow your skills, contribute to innovative projects, and be part of a vibrant developer community. We look forward to your contributions!
