Hear from Our Core Team

All team members were once DevPool contributors

Our team is composed entirely of developers who joined through the DevPool, with the exception of 0x4007, the founder of Ubiquity DAO.

We have a highly skilled and diverse team. Each member started as a newcomer to the DevPool and was eventually offered a position on the core team. Our developers have varied levels of experience, from seasoned professionals to those relatively new to the field. There are no strict hiring restrictions; we value collaboration, ownership, pride in one’s work, and consistent quality. While it may take some time to learn the nuances of our coding style and expectations during code reviews, those who can deliver after this learning phase are likely to receive an offer to join the team.

Keyrxng:
"I first discovered Ubiquity DAO and its tasks about a year before making my first contribution. At that time, I was not equipped to handle the tasks efficiently, having attempted one in secret and failed badly. I returned a year later, more well-rounded but still a relatively inexperienced developer. In my first month, I earned about $1,200 by completing three tasks, marking my first-ever open-source contributions, which was fantastic. Over the next year, I continued contributing, improving my understanding of the various projects at Ubiquity, and earned roughly $10,000 through open-source work. How many people can say that?
I received an offer to join the team with oversight on a particular codebase, quickly gaining more responsibilities and a promotion. This experience has shown me that actions speak louder than words. By delivering exceptional, consistent work, you will be noticed and rewarded for your contributions within the DevPool. Even if you just aim to earn 'beer money' for a few hours of coding on weekends, it's definitely worth it."

Our team's journey from DevPool contributors to core team members demonstrates the opportunities available for those who are dedicated and consistent in their efforts. We value every contribution and are excited to welcome new developers to our community.
